Launching Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I'd simply like to change opening the MS EDGE app from a single click to a double click. Not rocket science.
But I'm told by MS Support that you can't set MS EDGE to open from the TASK BAR by using a double click instead of a single click. Does anyone know of a process I can change this - opening MS EDGE from the TASK BAR using a double click instead of the single click. 25 years of double click habit and now I'm opening two Edge pages every time I open the app. It's a pain!
Thanks,
]Dan

Hi babyscooter3
I understand that you are looking for a feature that would allow you to double-click an application on the task bar.
The task bar is designed for quick access and that is why the single-click option is applied when you pin an application. I tried to search through it, but I do not see this feature being available yet.
Meanwhile, I would recommend that you provide feedback in regards to your concern. Our developer team will surely appreciate feedback in regards to this mentioned feature.
