Hi shackdaddy2022,
Welcome to Microsoft Community. I'm Mosken, let me help you.
According to your description, I knew that you got an error when using IE mode in Microsoft Edge. Is that right?
First, what is your usage scenario? Please describe your usage scenario in your next reply, such as your actions before and after the error occurred*, and the source of the error (Event Viewer or application Error log), or take a screenshot of it and attach it to your next reply.*
Then according to the information you provided, I found that your Microsoft Edge browser is not updated to the latest, so I suggest you try to update it to the latest and then try. The latest Edge browser version is shown below.
Then I suggest you try different IE mode options in Edge browser as shown in the image below.
In addition, you can visit Internet Explorer (IE) mode troubleshooting and FAQ | Microsoft Docs for more content related to IE mode of Microsoft Edge, hope it will help you.
The above steps are provided based on the information I have learned so far, and hope that could help you a little. If the problem still exists, please provide us a full PSR from the beginning, through the whole process, and until the error message is displayed, so we can further investigate.
Best Regards,
Mosken-MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
