MS Edge for Mac

Question

Using a keyboard shortcut I accidentally inverted the colours within all Edge browser windows. The rest of the browser and computer is its usual light colour. 

I am using a Mac computer, does anyone know a keystroke to return this to normal please?

Hi Jin

I decided to reset rather than wait for someone else to reply. It didn't fix it, then I remembered that Edge updated itself this morning. So I checked if any of my extensions were affecting it and lo and behold it was one of the extensions, when I turned it off everything was back to normal. I've reported it to the developer hopefully they will fix it in the near future.

Thanks for your reply. The keyboard shortcut had no effect. At the moment I am reluctant to rest the browser as last time I did this a couple of weeks ago it took me ages to get everything back to how I had arranged it. I'll wait a little while and if there are no other options I will try the reset.

It's a shame as I had switched all of our office computers over to Edge in preference to Google Chrome, perhaps I was a little premature!

I'm Jin, a fellow Windows 10 user and an independent advisor. I can see that you accidentally inverted the colors in Edge browser.

In Mac computers, use the keyboard shortcut command + option + control + 8 to enable/disable smart invert.

Since you also mentioned that this is only happening in Edge, as I can see that there is no option within Edge to have inverted colors you can at least try resetting it's settings.

Click the 3 dot's on upper right to access Settings > Reset settings > confirm.
