Edge Update in Task Manager

Hello everyone,

I've been experiencing some issues with my laptop where "Edge Update" is like taking up 70% of my CPU and 60% of my Memory. Like, why?

Why is it updating? What is it doing? So because it seemed strange that Edge needed this many resources, so I went to delete the file's origins. Now I'm occasionally getting errors. Like Unable to find a said file or stuff. Can I please get an explanation of what is going on, and why I can't uninstall Microsoft Edge.

So either this is a virus or something or what the hell.

Thanks.

Please check memory usage with RamMap tool https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/d... and CPU usage with Process Explorer https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/d...

Unfortunately Process tab of Task manager may show incorrect values due to to small incompatibilities in BIOS. Please check for BIOS updates.
