Troubleshooting website display or functionality issues in Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I am running network of websites which are serving web push notifications to their subscribers, but web push notifications got blocked with latest update. These websites are community dedicated, and my subscribers are relaying on me for their favorite brand-related info like latest discounts, infos, etc. (See an icon with red dot in address bar right-hand side)
Is there an option to circumvent this behavior programmatically via extension or JS?

Hi Luiz,
I am not a problem but my users as they are not that tech savvy to make such assumptions and drill down thru Edge settings where they can sort this problem out.
My original question is there a way to do this programmatically via JS snippet/script on webpage or some other way to solve it without user interaction. My main goal is to restore native "Allow/Deny" dialog box where user can enable push notifications regularly.
Hello Aleksandar, I'm Greg, here to help you with this.
I would report this to Edge Developers in the Edge Hub (three dots to right of URL address bar) then Help & Feedback, then Feedback form to fill out. They will not even see it here, as this is a tech forums where mostly volunteers try to help others with their problems.
Meanwhile if you want to consult with others who are dealing with this same issue it would not be here in our end-consumer forums, but in a web developers forum. There are some good ones to try here:

I hope it helps.
