How do I set up the microphone on my laptop? I thought it was build in on my laptop when I purchased it.

People can't hear me talking, but I can hear them when they are talking.

I'm not sure what that means, I'm not computer savvy. However I'm just wanting to be able to use Zoom Conference Meetings and I need my microphone to work for this. I can hear everyone on my meetings, but they can't hear me.

    Hello SP009SP,

My name is Paul one of the Community Expert and a Windows User like you. I am sorry that you are having issues with your build in Microphone in your Laptop. Let's try to check first if the Device is currently Active and working by checking the Privacy Settings first of the Microphone because the MIC might be blocked on a certain applications.

    Steps:

    * Click start and Search for Privacy and Open it.

    * Look for App Permissions and Look for Microphone.

    * Make sure that the ALLOW APPS TO ACCESS YOUR MIC is enabled.

    * You can also check the Apps listed below regarding their respective Permissions and if disabled try to enable the app.

If the above information's doesn't resolve the issue please get back to me.

    Regards,
