You may be referring to the Windows Multi-tasking settings, where Edge tabs can be treated as windows. Click Windows settings ⚙ > System > Multi-tasking > Alt + Tab.
Hi YuZheouo -
I understand that you're having some issues right now. I'm Jerico, and I'd be more than happy to help you today.
It's the same as in my case, it's the new feature now of Windows I believe. For alternatives, you can use Windows key + Tab key and select the window you want to switch or you can still use the ALT + Tab then release the Tab key while holding down (press down) the ALT key and use the mouse to click the window that you want to select/switch.
Feel free to reach back if you need any further assistance.
Hope this help. Have a good day.
Thank you.

Hi YuZheouo -
You're welcome. The RAM consumption of Edge depends on how many tabs are open, but it's normal. Me, personally, I'm using Microsoft Edge and I have most of the time 7 to 10 tabs open and upon checking on task manager, it only consume more or less 350 MB of memory.
Thank you,
Jerico T.
thx for ur solution, will edge take up more ram bcuz of this?
