Other issues or features related to Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Hi,
I have upgraded MS Edge Legacy to MS Edge Chromium browser on my Windows 10 machine. Everything works fine except tracking prevention. It always reports zero trackers blocked, no matter what websites I visit or what blocking method I use "Balanced" or "Strict". The same list of websites on my girlfriend's Windows 10 machine do have trackers blocked successfully when visiting with MS Edge Chromium. Could someone shed a light on what's going on?
I've already tried to recreate MS Edge profile, use guest profile and even tried to browse in InPrivate mode. None of these solve the issue, Edge is still reporting 0 trackers blocked.

I've checked it today, and now it magically works. Nothing was changed on my side so I suspect that bug was fixed in the newest Edge build.
Before I do so, will my Favourites, Collections and other settings will be preserved?
I see. Another workaround is to uninstall and reinstall Edge.
To uninstall edge, just type Edge on the search bar on the lower left corner.
The Microsoft Edge should be on the results, do a right click on Edge and choose uninstall.
You can also reinstall Edge from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge
No, there are no Exceptions defined for Tracking Prevention. I have tried to force-reset exception list by adding an example website and clearing the list after that. Still no go.
Hi, I'm Bianca, an Independent Advisor for Microsoft, an expert and a Microsoft user like you. I'm happy to assist you.
I understand that you want to use Microsoft Edge's tracking prevention feature but it's giving you zero trackers blocked. I also understand that you already have tried troubleshooting. I'm not sure if you already have tried this but I do not want to miss important troubleshooting steps. You might want to double check if you have an exception for tracking prevention. To do that, follow the steps on this link:

I hope this helps. If not, let me know if this does not work or if you've tried this already. I have another possible solution to try after this one.
