Availability of the Visio ActiveX drawing control

We're using the Visio (2013) ActiveX drawing control in a WinForms application (similar to the description here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/visio/concepts/about-the-visio-drawing-control). Since ActiveX is discussed as being deprecated around the web I'd like to ask whether the ActiveX drawing control will be available in the future as well and, if not, what the replacement technology is.

    So far, I have not found Microsoft’s plan for ActiveX controls in the future. Maybe you could wait and see if there is an alternative.

    As tag "office-visio-itpro" means general issues of Visio, but your issue is more about the development of Visio that uses Drawing Control, to better help you, I would suggest you post a new thread in Office developer community.
    There are more people with rich development experience, and maybe your questions could get more replies.
