Installing or updating Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I need to uninstall Edge x64 so I can install Edge x32. On every attempt I get a popup saying:
There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor.
As Microsoft is our "package vendor," I am currently contacting Microsoft.

Microsoft Edge is a part of the core components of Windows and the uninstall feature is currently disabled. Disabling or removing the browser might cause other Windows components not to work.

Thanks John. Then how do I install the 32 bit version? I have to install it because Microsoft dropped ie and our company's check scanner won't work on 64 bit browsers.
