Cannot attach documents

My computer will not let me upload any type of document as an attachment. I can open up a document from the files tab, but if I try attaching it to an email or on Microsoft edge to upload an assignment it will not let me. HP laptop running on Microsoft edge fully updated.

    My name is Carlo, I am also using Windows 10 pc and community member like you. Let us work together to sort this out.

    -How do you access your emails, is it using the app or using the Edge?

    -Does it happen to other browsers , can you please try to attach them for us to check if the issue is with the Edge or the file itself.

    -How large is the file you are trying to attach?
