Disabling the hardware acceleration can also cause lagging, but it can resolve the crash and freeze in your browser. You can try enabling it again and try these suggestions below.
Open Edge browser
Click (...)Settings and more > Settings
Click About Microsoft Edge
Go to Start
Settings
Apps
Apps & features.
In the apps list, select Microsoft Edge
then select Modify.
Press CTRL+ALT+Delete
Then Click on Task Manager
Then Navigate to Startup Tab
( from there you can Disable unnecessary applications running from the startup)
What to do if Microsoft Edge isn't working
now I have done that when I pick up a puzzle piece & drag it to the puzzle its like lagging the pointer moves in front of the puzzle piece sorry to be a pain but its been happening for a while now
Thanks for the update. If it only happens on the Edge browser and not in full screen, try the first method.
Click the 3 dots in the upper right of your Edge browser
then click settings
then select system
Then toggle off the "Use hardware acceleration when available"
Click "restart" to restart your browser and for it to take effect.
