Mac Version Microsoft Edge is not working

Hi There,

Thank you for allowing me to register for this forum and report the problem I am facing. 

Microsoft is not working on my Mac computer after I deleted a contact from my wechat connections. His name is <removed> and he is the one told me about Microsoft Edge. But I get bored chatting with him and also he is a married man and I do not know why he keeps chatting with me. 

After the deleting, the Edge application stops functioning well on my macbook pro computer. When I type https://www.bing.com in the url but the browser is not responding and the notification page says:

Can't open this page. You should also: close other apps, open page in a new InPrivate window, Restart Microsoft Edge, Restart your computer, Error code: 6. And with Refresh button.

I do not know whether these two things have connections or reasoning and causes here. But could you check this problem a little bit and help me with that?

    Me too! I have installed and uninstalled and rebooted .... everything. Edge just will not work on Mac. It installs fine, but when you open it, it crashes every single time. Useless.

    I have a MacBook. Downloaded Edge. It will not open. I have restarted computer and I have re-downloaded at least 4 times. Wanting to curse Microsoft and Apple. Help.

    Are you a Mac user and seeing the error in the image below (Error 6) when trying to use Microsoft Edge? The team is working on it! A reboot of your Mac may fix the issue, however we'll provide updates here as we have them. Thanks for your patience!

    I'll let you know when the issue is resolved.

    Hi Sumit,

    Thank you very much for replying in such a fast speed !

    I tried to reload the webpage and redownload the Microsoft Edge from Microsoft Official Website. And they are do not work. Please contact me if you need more information. What's more, if you need logs or other additional materials, please contact me as well.
