After the last Windows 10 updated (two weeks ago), the web notes icon on MS edge browser disappeared. What's happening?

I know this was posted quite a while ago, but it looks like this thread has gotten some views and votes recently.  The new Microsoft Edge has a feature called Web capture, which replaces Web notes.  Here are the steps below to activate it.

    1. Click on the three dots menu button.
    2. Click on Web capture.

I literally just bought a new Microsoft laptop over a Google Chrome for this specific feature. It downloaded the new Edge without it and all the stores displayed the old. Im super disappointed and feel like I just wasted $1300. Why was it removed and is it coming back? Can I download an older version of Edge just to have it? I'd rather have older with that than newer without.

    Hi Zummy

The new Edge doesn't have the annotation feature yet.

    Hello,

If you uninstall the Microsoft Edge, then the old one will be reinstalled.
