Microsoft Edge Push Notifications Not Working

Hello,

I am currently using Microsoft Edge as my default browser, version 129.0.2792.89 (Official build) (64-bit).

The issue I’m experiencing is that I’m not receiving "Push Notifications" through the Edge browser.

I’ve confirmed that the FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) token is successfully generated in both Edge and Chrome, and the service worker is functioning correctly. However, while push notifications are successfully received in Chrome, they are not appearing in Edge.

Here are the steps I’ve taken so far:

  • Cleared the browser cache
  • Deleted and regenerated the token
  • Verified that service workers are running as expected

Despite these efforts, the issue remains specific to Edge. Could there be something I’m overlooking, such as Edge-specific notification settings or additional steps needed for push notifications in Edge?

Any insights would be appreciated.

We are also facing the same issue. But without a solution. You wrote that it is now working for you? Can you tell us what you did?
