Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
Likely "Coming soon" to Edge GA, BUT
One of these was launched from Edge Canary and one from Edge Dev. Do you see the difference between them?
Wonder what Edge GA will have; with or without.
But wait, there's more π Ponder this: This is launched from Dev (stable), the default browser in Canary Insider Build π
Meanwhile, this is regular Edge Dev in Canary IB. Confused, yet? Can you say consistency, boys & girls? π€£
Cheers,
Drew
2, was some fun over another time of inconsistencies across various place and another time of the inconsistencies not making a lot of sense, really.
Could be you were just over thinking it.
No worries, though, if you or anyone doesn't catch it; some others may. It's cool, either way π

so enlighten me, the thread is nonsense.
I am well aware that you have been an insider for a number of years and that you know full well how it works, so just what is the reason for this thread?
Thanks for your input, but you have very much misunderstood the Post and missed the point.
As an Insider since before Vista, I am, certainly, already quite aware of how things go.
Cheers,
Drew
Microsoft will test various ideas in Insider builds, that is what they are for.
there may be multiple test going on in one build as we have seen with windows insiders.
they will read the feedback and gauge customer opinion before making a decision on which way to go with the stable build.
if you really find this that confusing, perhaps it would be better to stick with the release/stable version.
