Sir/Ma'am, I'm facing a huge problem on my laptop.

When wifi is switched on, the machine boots to a normal desktop but opens edge (default browser) and opens a tab at the following address:  https://www.bing.com/search?q=how+to+get+help+in+windows+11&filters=guid:%22711b6492-0435-0038-8706-7c6b0feb200a_win11-en-dia%22%20lang:%22en%22&form=S00028(bing search results page for the search string "get help in windows 11")Another identical tab will open, then another, and another, and another. If I close the browser it opens again and starts opening multiple identical tabs again. It will do this until the machine crashes. The only way to stop it is by turning wifi off. With wifi off, another problem presents:The Windows 11 "Get Started" guide opens on the page "GET CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET"I close it opens again.I click another window, it quickly reverts back, on and on in a loop. The laptop really can't be used in any real sense with WiFi on.Please help me in getting this issue resolved

    Hi, Sagar Sonawane1

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

For such issues, the first thing to rule out is a problem with the F1 key on your keyboard. If possible, disconnect all your keyboards and check whether the issue persists to ensure it's not related to the keyboard.

If the keyboard is not the cause, check if there is a process named Helppane.exe in the Task Manager. If it exists, close it and see if the issue is resolved (you can open the Task Manager by right-clicking on the taskbar).

If the problem persists, try navigating to C:/Windows and locate the file HelpPane.exe, then rename it to HelpPane.old.

This operation requires enabling the display of file extensions. If you encounter permission issues, follow these steps:

    1. Right-click on the file.
    2. Select "Properties."
    3. Go to the "Security" tab, then "Advanced."
    4. Change the owner to Everyone and grant all permissions to all accounts in the editing section.

    Best regards
