Managing browser extensions in Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The extension install force list method does not work on extensions downloaded from Chrome Web Store but works on extensions downloaded from Microsoft Edge add-ons. When I apply the policy on Chrome Web Store extensions it Installs them, but it disables them. I cannot enable them because the enable/disable switch is greyed out.

This policy worked fine before the update. I noticed the issue today. Edge allows Chrome extensions so why turn it off when I forcefully install them?
In edge://extensions/ is "Allow extensions from other stores" enabled?
See the following regarding that policy:
Only Microsoft Store is supported unless joined to a Microsoft Active Directory domain.
Are you applying the policies through gpedit or the registry?
Post a screenshot of edge://policy/
When extensions are force installed through policy the option to enable or disable will be greyed out. That's the way policies work.
Yes but that is not the issue
