    Hi, Elijah Boswell

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

This warning prompt might appear in many situations. If possible, could you provide a screenshot?

In Edge, this prompt indicates that Edge considers the file you're downloading to be potentially dangerous. This might be due to the file being outdated or other reasons (for instance, hidden update tools from Microsoft also trigger warning alerts). If you are sure the file is safe, you can click 'Keep' to continue downloading and open the file.

If it's a local file, please check Windows Security and review the Protection History to see if the file is listed there. If it is, you can add it to the whitelist. For third-party security software, perform similar actions within the software's records.

If neither of these situations applies, please provide a screenshot of the specific issue.

    Best regards
