SCDPM 2016 missing VMWare management (current version Update Rollup 9 for SCDPM 2016, on Prem)

I have all updates for DPM 2016 installed, but still missing the "Manage VMWare" option. I also noticed that the "Agents" on the management page doesn't show as "Production Servers". Not sure why.
Does anyone know how to enable\correct that?

    Hi @James Tackett ,

This indeed sounds abnormal, the "DPM 2016 RTM" version does come with the "Agents", I cannot remember when it was changed (in some Update Rollup), but it should definitely exist in Update Rollup 9. Also the "Manage VMware" option should be available, but it was also not available on "DPM 2016 RTM" version.

To me it sounds that you might have some corruption in your DPM database, it seems that not everything has updated correctly as you are still seeing the old options in the console.

There is one newer update, Update Rollup 10, you could try installing this and check if the issue persists, before doing so I would recommend taking a FULL backup of your DPM server and DPM database.

Also when you've previously applied Update Rollups, did you do it correctly?
