After latest update to edge released on 25th Jul 2024, our application can't launch an embedded application which is http based. Seems issue is due to new policy allowhttplist.

Any help on this is appreciated.

In this case, I would suggest to post this query to our neighbor forum from the link below as this is best suited in there. They are more oriented on with regards to this type queries/issues and there will be IT Pros and Gurus/System Admins/IT Admins and the likes who has the same deployment or setup in this type of environment and are available that will be able to fulfill your query out there.

    Hi Paul,

    Thanks a lot!

Due to Organization policy, we can't downgrade Edge Version.

Also, feedback option is disabled for me.

I was looking for allowhttplist policy in registry, but it is not there.

I was looking for some option to bypass this policy "allowhttplist".

    Regards

    Sumit

Good day Sumit, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. Sorry to know about this and at the time being you can downgrade first back to 126 or the previous version before this said update if this issue is affecting users in which you can download via the link below.

On the other hand you can also check and test this on the other builds that you can also download via the link above and what I would suggest is that you can also send a feedback to the team that is working on Edge and hopefully a hotfix will be applied soon on the next update and you can provide a feedback from the browser itself by clicking on the 3 dots > Help and feedback > Send feedback and also via the link below as this is where other users of Beta, Canary and Dev builds puts their input if there is any issue with it's releases on that channel.
