Other issues or features related to Microsoft Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
The "More Options" feature has seemed to stop working on my Edge Quick Link buttons. I click on the 3 dots and receive no options.
Not sure what happened. I just pinned 3 of them and was removing some other and all of a sudden, the 3 dots do not do anything anymore.
Anyone have any ideas as to what may have caused this? I have cleared my browsing history for last 24 hours, and still nothing when clicking the 3 dots. I have also made sure updates been installed and have rebooted. Still nada.
This is most perplexing. Any suggestions would be truly appreciated.

Hi Johann,
My apologies for the delay in response. I was away from the office for a few days. Anyhow, seems the issue has resolved. I noticed yesterday upon my return that everything seemed back to normal again. I can remove and pin the quick link shortcuts on the Edge home screen once again.
Thank you much for your time. Your assistance is greatly appreciated!

Hello,
Thanks for reaching out here in the Microsoft Answers Community.
Based on the description, since the new tab page loads a web page, there could be extensions affecting it.
You can try entering "edge://extensions" into the address bar, and disable all the extensions. Restart Edge and see whether the issue persists. If the issue is gone, please enable the extensions one by one, and remove the problematic extension.
You can also try using a different user profile by selecting your user profile icon and selecting "Set up new personal profile", and see whether the issue also happens in the new profile.
We look forward to your response.
Best Regards,
Johann - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
