Skype engine number

Yesterday I set up a Skype engine number located in Sydney Australia. When my contact calls do I need to have the Skype app on the screen. Also will the call go to my laptop or mobile phone. Do I need to set up a divert option.

    Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

    You don’t need to have the app open on the screen and you will be notified of the call on all devices which are logged in to your account at the same time. On your phone it will appear much like a normal incoming phone call.
