Deleted emails keep coming back!

Question

I have to re-delete the same emails every time I open my inbox. If I delete them, click off my inbox, and then open it again, the same 126 emails come back. I cannot simply delete them permanently as this is a work email and I need the files for reference- but I'm skeptical that would even work to be honest.....

I also have a secondary related issue (that started first) where emails keep coming back as "unread" even after I've "read" them. Again, its a situation where it changes every time I click off and back on. It's SUPER annoying when I'm trying to stay organized with my tasks, and none of my other coworkers have this issue. I can't even delete my account to start over as this is a work email.

Hi

I have a similar problem.

In my office 365, Outlook Web deleted emails still appear in Deleted Items.

It also does not allow to empty the trash from the Storage settings.

What options can I apply to solve the problem?
