Thanks, Dlc.
not sure if this will work for you as it did not work for me but you may want to try this.
1 delete your browser history
2 disable all of your browser extensions
3 restart the computer
If after a few days you are able to open the browser without issue try enabling a couple extensions and try that for a few days. Keep adding until you run into trouble as it maybe a bad extension that is causing the problem.
I've been having the same issue with Edge in Win 10 over the past month or so. Despite several incidents (over several weeks) of repair, I cannot seem to launch this program consistently. I've found that after repairing it three consecutive times on one occasion, I was able to launch it; however, I've also done the same thing without success and had to restart the computer to get the program to launch. Any suggestions? I like Edge, but it's beginning to cost me too much time. Many thanks.
Hi, and thanks for reaching out. My name is Bernard a Windows fan like you. I'll be happy to help you out today.
I understand the issue you have, there is nothing to worry I am here to help, have you noticed any changes before the issue starts? or have you installed any software or apps that may cause the issue? while waiting for your response, kindly follow the steps below:
Method 1. Repair Microsoft Edge
Go to Settings > Apps > Apps & Features
Scroll down and click Microsoft Edge > Click Modify then follow the prompt to repair.

Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.
Method 2. Do clean boot:
A “clean boot” starts Windows with a minimal set of drivers and startup programs, so that you can determine whether a background program is interfering with your game or program.
