I noticed that Microsoft Edge freezes in some parts of the screen before going back to normal. I can still use the browser, but some parts of the screen freeze before resynchronizing with the rest of the display. Some effective solutions are right-clicking on affected areas, screenshotting, and moving the window around. I believe that it is isolated on my desktop since reinstalling windows does not fix the issue. Please investigate further, thank you

    Hi Simon Ho2.

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

You're experiencing screen freezes in your Edge browser, which sounds like it's related to the Graphics Acceleration feature. You can turn off the “Graphics Acceleration” feature by following the steps below:

    1. Open Edge browser, click on the three horizontal dots in the upper right corner, find “Settings” in the tab, open Settings.
    2. Find “System and Performance” in the left menu bar, click it.
    3. You will find the option “Use graphics acceleration when available” on the right side, turn this option off.

This should be related to the problem you are experiencing, you can test if the problem occurs again by using Edge browser for a while. Feel free to reply if there is any progress. Wishing you a Merry Christmas.

    Best Regards,
