The place where downloads can be found in specified in Settings > Downloads > Location

How did you specifically save this file? Have you enabled features like OneDrive? Is this file an EXE file? If you downloaded the file through Edge and did not manually save it to another location, you can check the default save location to see if it exists there.

It is also recommended that you check the Protection History in Windows Security to see if there is any related information. This will help determine whether the file was flagged as unsafe and consequently deleted.
You can also try searching for the file directly by its name to see if it is still on your hard drive.
