Installing or updating Microsoft Edge on Windows 10
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I'm getting a 0X800700C1 error when I'm trying to update Edge. I'm using Windows 10 Version 10.0.19045.4651. Microsoft Edge Version 126.0.2592.102 (Official build) (64-bit).
I saw there was a similar issue before and I went to the apps and did the modify and it repaired and installed Edge again but I get the same error. When I try to update, I get three notifications that Edge is trying to update and asking for my approval and when I do I get the error. I see that this hasn't been the first time this has happened. I'm using other browsers at the moment. When I use the modify and it repairs and installs Edge, is it the latest version? I could just update that way until it is fixed. Let me know.

Hi Brian,
I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.
The error code indicates a network issue.
For once, are you able to download and install the latest version manually using the MSI package?
