I have this exact issue with Edge as well since latest update, sync is on and I am signed in.

I re-created and re-saved a password but it was lost after closing Edge.

Chrome had a very similar issue a week ago, so this might be related to a bug in chromium, please look into it asap.

Unlike JourneymanMC auto fill in does not work for me, passwords are completely gone.

Same here, all saved passwords gone following latest Edge update, no autofill on any login pages, and no saving of login details for which I knew the info and have logged in today.

Yes I am logged in and synch is on.

A rather inelegant solution which has worked for me and one of my colleagues, this is something to do with Edge now not being to 'see' the Windows file in which the passwords are stored but that file is still there.

I downloaded Firefox, asked it to import passwords from Edge, which it did successfully. Then went back to Edge and asked it to import passwords from Firefox.

I now have all my passwords (I think) back in Edge and it also seems to be saving new and amended logins. Uninstalled Firefox and Edge still OK.

Weird solution perhaps but it worked for us.

    Hi Nathan,

I am experiencing the same issue, (as probably many others do) after the latest update of MS Edge. The passwords are somewhere in the system, since automatic login on websites still works. But no passwords in the MS vault/wallet.

    How to solve this?

    Thank you.

    Hey there, ashish singh5

Are you signed into your account on Edge?

You can see if you are by click onto your profile name in the top left corner. If you have signed into your account and it is syncing, then you will see that under your name it will say 'Sync is on' in green.

If it not syncing, you will see an option to 'fix' and it will ask you to sign into your account.

    Nathan
