How many copies of Windows can be activativated with one MAK key?

Question

Not so far ago my company buy 4 Open Licenses for 4 new instances of Windows Server 2019 Standard 16 core.

In private cabinet I see only one new license with 1 MAK key for Windows Server 2019 Standard which has 45 activations.

My question is - I can use this key only for activation of this 4 new servers, or I can use it for activation of much more new servers at the same time, up to 45 in total without license violation?

Hi,

45 activation times means you could activate upto 45 times on different devices. It also could be 45 Windows Server 2019 system devices with one device for one time.

However, if you want to change the hardware of your device, you need to activate it again, so it will also cut down your activation time.
