Hello,

Are Workspaces in Edge available for Android tablet users yet. If yes, how do we enable that feature?

If not, how long before that feature is enabled?

Thanks.

Vince

Good day, thanks for your question. There was a couple of post July last year stating that it became available for Canary and it is where you can enable it via flags, but there was no further update after that if it will already be released on the Stable channel, and therefore you can refer to the links below which also has detailed steps on how it can be enabled, but kindly take note that it might work or it might not work as expected.

    Thanks for your reply.

Perhaps this isn't the right answer for Tablet users? Seems like these solutions posted are just for phone users. Here is Edge Canary, with the flag enabled, after the restart.

Where would I go to see the different tab options such as Private, Workspaces, etc?

This has the same build for Android OS in general and it looks like this only worked on version 128 Canary and after that there is no update in general if this has worked past that update, and that is the reason I also mentioned that it might work or it might not work as this is usually the case if a certain feature is being introduced or being tested as it might not be available past that stage.

For me this really is an issue in making the most out of the interoperability between Windows and Android. The issue seems relatively simple to solve: on a larger screen, each browser tab is shown on top, whereas on a phone screen, the tab to navigate tabs must be selected on a separate screen. Only that separate screen holds the workspaces icon. Please enable the workspace icon in the same place as it sits on Edge for Windows. As mentioned, it shouldn't be that hard (for me, I wouldn't mind when it replaces the icon to switch between normal and private mode).
