Default Browser Confusion

Hi,

I am having some confusion with my default browser setting.

In Default Apps, I have set my default browser to Google Chrome. Under "Choose default apps by file type", I have set Google Chrome to open .htm and .html files. Under "Choose default apps by protocol", I have chosen Google Chrome for http and https.

Still, when I receive an email with a link like http://microsoft.com and I click on it, the site opens in Microsoft Edge. If anyone can suggest why this would not open in Chrome, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks in advance,
Paul
