Hi,
Im interested to hear if a website can detect if split screen is turned on and therefore act accordingly?
Also, very interested to hear can split screen be turned on for just that website? ie. can we use split screen tabs as an equivalent to a reading pane (like outlook for instance) is there a html way to call a split screen - like a target="_blank" type thing? (or js etc)
Hard to find any technical docs about this at all.

Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.
It will basically just be able to detect the browser screen width, the same as if you manually resized a browser window. There won't be anything specifically saying that it is a split screen.
Please let me know if you need any further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Elise
Hrm, so there are no API's or libraries that address this? Im curious how Outlook does it that it opens a link with a split open. Surely there should be some documentation on this somewhere?

Hello,
Most websites can detect split screen but it can depend on the website itself.
