Managing tabs, address bar, and search settings in Edge on Windows 11
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
When I open a new tab, I don't want to open Microsoft Start/MSN. Instead, I want to open Bing, but so far, I haven't found anything much even with Bing Chat. I don't want to use the focused view as I've seen been recommended; I just want to use Bing as it feels less cluttered. So please provide the settings I could go to use Bing.com.

Hi,
I'm Rodrigo and I'll help you.
To change the new tab to another site, you need to install an extension.
This extension can do it:
https://microsoftedge.microsoft.com/addons/deta...
For the browser, changing the new tab page is a sensitive change, so it will deactivate the extension when you install it, to reactivate it, go to edge://extensions/ and turn it on.
To set the URL for the new tab page, select the Extensions menu on the top bar (if you can find it, select the three dots on the top right corner > Extensions), > Select "Custom New Tab" > insert the address on the URL and select "Save"
THANK YOU!!! I literally have been searching for this ability for months. Why it had to be so ridiculous and WHY they had to remove the ability is beyond me but thank you Rodrigo - you are my hero.
Thanks for the advice, and it worked well.
