    Hello Diego Betancourt,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

You are unable to connect to Microsoft Copilot through any browser after updating to Windows 11.Despite trying to restart the computer and reconnecting multiple times, the problem has not been resolved.

I understand your frustration in trying to connect to Microsoft Copilot. This can be very frustrating for users who rely on this service. Please be assured that we will do our best to help you resolve this issue.

    1. Create a new test account Create a new test account and switch to the newly created account to see if Windows Focus is working normally. This troubleshooting step can help isolate the problem due to an invalid profile configuration.

Create a local user or administrator account in Windows - Microsoft Support 2. Browser Extension or Plugin Conflict:

Some extensions or plugins in your browser may conflict with Copilot services. Try opening your browser in Trace Free/**Privacy mode**, or disable all extensions and try connecting again.

    1. Internet connection: Make sure your computer has a stable internet connection. You can try visiting other websites to check if the network is working properly. what's more, incorrect DNS settings or the use of a proxy server may result in an inability to connect to Copilot. try changing the DNS servers or disabling the proxy settings.
    2. Browser compatibility: Try using different browsers such as Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc. to determine if it is a compatibility issue with a specific browser.
    3. Clearing Cache and Cookies: Sometimes browser cache and cookies can cause connection problems. Try clearing this data and try connecting again. Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.
    4. Reset Copilot: If none of the above steps work, you can try resetting Copilot, which may require you to reconfigure some of your settings, but may resolve the connection issue.
    5. **Safe mode:**I suggest you go into Safe mode to see if  the system itself has a problem. We can use this to isolate the problem as Safe Mode enables a minimal number of additional services or apps to rule out issues caused by personalized settings and third-party apps.

Visit Start your PC in safe mode in Windows (microsoft.com) to view the specific steps. Please follow these in order and report back what you discover. 8. Account Issues: This may be due to an issue with your Microsoft account, such as an issue with account permissions, subscription status, or authentication. Make sure your account information is up to date and that you have permission to access the Copilot service. 9. Firewall or security software: The firewall or security software on your computer may be blocking access to the Copilot service. Check your firewall settings or security software logs to see if there are any relevant blocking entries. 10. Hardware issues: Although uncommon, hardware issues (such as a faulty network adapter) can also cause connection issues

The steps above will help narrow down where the problem occurs. If you have any other questions, please contact us

    Best wishes

    Hello Diego,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

I suggest some idea for solving your problem:

    1. Check Internet Connection: Ensure that your internet connection is stable and working correctly. Try accessing other websites to verify.
    2. Disable Firewall/Antivirus: Temporarily disable your firewall and antivirus software to see if they are blocking the connection to Copilot. Remember to re-enable them after testing.
    3. Clear Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies to eliminate any potential conflicts.
    4. Try a Different Browser: If you're experiencing issues with a specific browser, try using a different one to see if the problem persists.
    5. Check Copilot Status: Visit the Copilot website or check their social media channels to see if there are any reported outages or maintenance that could be affecting your ability to connect.
    6. Reinstall Copilot: Uninstall and reinstall the Copilot application to ensure that it's properly configured for Windows 11.
    7. Contact Copilot Support: If none of the above steps resolve your issue, reach out to Copilot's support team for further assistance. Provide them with details about your operating system version, browser, and any error messages you're receiving for a quicker resolution.

Please let me know how it goes.

Thank you for your interest and support of Microsoft products.

    Kind regards,

    Yoshitomo

I turned off my Microsoft Teams -Run in the background earlier today. Then when I tried to use Copilot and it wouldn't respond. I turned it back on and now it is working. So maybe you turned off running in background in some Microsoft apps. Try turning it back on. I still have "turned off" the APP not initiating upon powering on.
