When invited to join Teams meetings from other (external) organisations, I find some of the teams functions disabled, for example the blur background function. I also cannot use an external webcam via Cascable webcampro. This is not the case if I launch a teams meeting. It is a problem if i am asked to give a lecture by an external organisation. Looks less professional and not what i want. I use iMac running MacOS10.15.7

    @Martin Elliott ,

    This is controlled by Teams itself. No one could modify the settings now.

    I also tested in my lab. The result is same. External user has access to mainly features in Teams meeting.

    I have created a feedback about this feature. You could vote for it in this link.

    Microsoft will always focus on customer’s feedback and experience. Some new features would be added to the services based on customers' feedback in the future, and your good ideas will be very helpful for them to improve the service.

    Your time, understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.
