I have read through this thread. First of all, the Copilot app used should be Version 1.24112.133.0This is from MS Store and arrived/was released on 10 Jan. 2025.

If text is copied it will paste into the Copilot text messaging 'box' via Ctrl+V, not via Rt Clk.

One cannot C/P images. Those must use the Upload ImageThe above is in regard to (free) Copilot, not Copilot Pro. I cannot comment on Copilot Pro or differences it may have.

I cannot repro any inability to C/P text into the Copilot app.

    Cheers,
    Drew

    Hello Gerald Clerge,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Thank you for your feedback. Based on your description, you are unable to copy and paste in Copilot. Could you please clarify if you are unable to paste text into Copilot's input box, if you encounter an error when pasting images, or if you cannot copy Copilot's responses? Providing more details or screenshots of any errors will help me better understand your issue.

If you are unable to paste text into Copilot, try selecting the text, copying it, and then using the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + V to paste as plain text into Copilot.

If you are having trouble pasting images, try reopening a new Copilot chat window and attempting again, or use the upload button in Copilot to attach files. Alternatively, you can use the screenshot tool in Edge to capture and paste the image.

I hope this information helps. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reply. I am happy to continue helping you.Thank you for visiting the Microsoft Community. Wishing you good health and a pleasant life!

    Best wishes,

Amos.L - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

Not being able to right-click and paste in the copilot app input box seems to be recent bug. The input box is unresponsive to any right-click activity.
Using ctrl + V works as a workaround.

The website version of copilot doesn't have this problem.

I purchased the Copilot app and should not have an issue with it. I can't copy and paste and use the right click on the mouse. It's not a free app. I'm paying for it. I also can not use the deep thinker. I believe it was done maliciously. It was working fine till it wasn't.
