Major disk errors after windows 10 update

I just updated my laptop and I have been experiencing major disk errors after the update. File explorer stops responding while trying to launch an app from there. Search index also gets turned off and 1GB of storage was removed from my SSD drive. I tried restarting once, and it removed some more disk space after the automatic fix.

P.S. The only reason I chose Microsoft Edge in the category is because I could not find Windows 10 there.

Can you take out your hard drive and connect it to another PC as secondary for testing?

I'm sorry, but I was only able to run it in normal mode as nothing happens when I try to run it as admin. Edit: I just got an error message from some sort of setup which I believe is CrystalDiskMark saying: "ShellExecuteEx failed; code 5. Access is denied."

Please run command prompt as administrator, run

    chkdsk c: /scan

    command and show the result.

What exactly update did you do?

Unfortunately, I am unable to launch the application as it closes immediately upon opening. The UI doesn't show up, nor does the icon. I tried launching from explorer as administrator, but it freezes.

    Hi,

My name is Igor, it's a pleasure for me to help others and I'll do all my best to help you.

Please check drive's health with third-party CrystalDiskInfo tool and SSD manufacturer's tool and show the screenshots.
