Edge Workspaces Error: Unable to load workspaces

Hi,

My workspace unable to load.

I've tried resyncing my data, resetting my data, signed out and signed in. Nothing is working. There are a few users who had the same issue but manage to resolve with the steps mentioned but it's not working for me.

Version 122.0.2365.92

Microsoft Edge | Tabs, address bar, and search | Windows 11

    Yes Edge Beta exhibits the same behavior.

    There are no pending downloads. Have not found a fix for this

    See if this helps.

    To solve this problem:

    1. Close Edge
    2. Remove Preferences file in C:\Users\ \AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default (or Profile 1 2 ...).
    3. Open Edge and restore closed windows.
    4. Preferences file will appear, change its preferences (right click) to Read Only - this will prevent Preferences file from getting corrupted every time.

    It solved problem for me on V122.

    I encountered the same problem with workspaces.

    I've been using workspaces for more than 3 months for various projects, and then suddenly it stopped working. One day, I attempted to open them and received the error "Unable to load workspaces.". Then, I googled the problem and tried the existing solutions.

    I've already signed out and signed in to my account, installed Edge Canary as written on the internet, and reset the sync server data, etc. Nothing fully solved the problem. All these solutions were, unfortunately, temporary. I mean, they solved the issue, but for a limited period of time.

    For example, after I installed Edge Canary, I was able to open my workspaces and even work on them for a while. Everything was fine, I left my laptop for an hour (put it in sleep mode), and when I returned, the problem reappeared. After I turned it on, I got the same error and could not access my workspaces. That is, these solutions gave me access to my workspaces only until there was a network loss (e.g., during the laptop's sleep mode or while changing the network).

    If anyone has any idea how to fix it, I and many users will appreciate it! 🙏🏻
