This setting is still available in Edge.
Open Edge and go to the Settings by clicking on the three dots in the top-right corner.
Go to "Cookies and site permissions" > "All permissions" > "Application links".
You can also enter " edge://settings/content/applicationLinks " directly in Edge's address bar.
