I first checked that my own computer's edge is working properly with the translation feature, so we need some troubleshooting steps to determine the cause of the issue, which you can refer to below:
- is the edge account file you are currently logged into a school or organization account, try logging into a different account.
- Try reinstalling edge or using another version of edge to see if you can resume using it. Download Microsoft Edge
- Create a new local account profile and see if the edge works under the new account:Manage User Accounts in Windows - Microsoft Support
