cannot disable edge sync

cannot sync edge. have windows 11 and microsoft edge 121.0-227783. The sync feature remains on all the time. even when i shut off favorites and other features. I also tried disabling it with the register editor,but sync not disabled. This feature seems to be frozen. any tips on how to fix this problem with sync. Thanks for your help!

    You are facing an issue where you cannot turn off Edge sync.

    Here are a few steps you could try to resolve the issue:

    1. You can try signing out of your Edge account to terminate syncing. Please be sure to back up important data, such as bookmarks.
    2. You can add this information to the registry, and after adding it, restart Windows to check if the problem is resolved. It can help fix some problems, however, serious problems might occur if you modify the registry incorrectly. Therefore, make sure that you follow these steps carefully. For further protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore the registry if a problem occurs. Find the following location.
