edge on android is bugged

Question

recently i faced annoying bug on edge android

when i type on text field it scroll down the page in choppy way

this happen once per visit a website

it happended when i wrote this 3 times >:(

android 14

samsung

edge version 127.0.2651.102

Hey, I've got the same problem, but I'm using Samsung's default keyboard.

But, the Edge Dev version seems to have fixed it for me. So, thanks to the person who suggested that.

Same issue here... really annoying. I have read that there maybe a connection to SwiftKey. Do you use SwiftKey? Maybe reinstalling it helps...

/edit: i can confirm: the Issue is gone if i switch the keyboard to the original vanilla one and returns if i activate swiftkey again.

Reinstalling did not help tho - the bug is still there.

Hello,

I'm facing the same issue, it's really annoying, it started recently (with the latest update I assume).

Uninstall, clearing cache/data has no effect, issue still exists.

Way to reproduce:

1. open a new tab
2. enter bing.com (the issue is the same on all webpages but use bing.com now for simplicity)
3. wait until the page loads
4. tap in the "ask me anything" search bar
5. start typing
6. every character you type causes the screen scrolling down automatically eventually hiding the search bar and you are not able to see what you are typing
7. the issue is the same on any webpage where you can type any text in a form or something, feels like every input text onchange event kicks off a scroll down event too

i uninstalled it and reinstall, the problem gone but after few minutes the problem back :(
