    Hi Christo,

To preview PDF files in File Explorer, you can use Power Toys. It can enhance the functionality of Windows, including the ability to preview PDF, JPG, PNG and more files directly in File Explorer. Below is the official website.

By installing Power Toys, you can preview various files in Windows Explorer, making it easier to manage and view your documents without needing to open a separate application. Hope this can help you!

    Hi Christo,

I'm Sumit, here to answer your query at the Microsoft Community.

Rather than going through long list of troubleshooting which might or might not work, use the File Explorer addon in Powertoys to enable previews:

PowerToys is a set of utilities for Windows that enhances functionality and productivity. One of its features is the File Explorer add-ons utility, which improves file previews in Windows File Explorer. Here’s a brief overview:

    Preview Pane:

The Preview Pane is an existing feature in Windows File Explorer that allows you to see a preview of a file’s contents in the view’s reading pane.

PowerToys extends this functionality by adding multiple extensions, including support for Markdown, SVG, PDF, G-code, and QOI (Quick Open Image) files.

Additionally, it provides support for source code files across more than 150 file extensions.

Hope that helps, and rely on us for any further inquiries. All the best.
