Contacted Get Help, after explaining what I had done, asked to do Quick Assist. I filled out, accepted.

2:40 pm, received e-mail, about inactivity, and Quick Assist timed out. Asked by support, for future reference to self-help : support or answers. Like to know if something was done??

Also Thanked, and said they no longer had access to my PC

    Hello, Danny Bazinet

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the phone support staff had a bad experience for you. As I am a support person, I am not a Microsoft employee and I specifically do not know what they did. But as I understand it, if they link to the Quick Assistant, you can see what they did. They also need to ask your permission when they need administrator action. You can tell me exactly what you are experiencing and you can attach screenshots etc to help me understand your problem.

I look forward to your feedback.

    Best Regards,

    Aaron| Microsoft Community Support Specialist
