Microsoft Computer Shortcut

When I click on the Microsoft Edge shortcut on my computer it takes me to the Microsoft homepage the first time, but if I go back later and click on that shortcut it takes me to a new tabs page. How can I fix this?

    When was the last time it worked properly? Have you made any changes to your computer recently?

    Press Start then search Installed apps

    Find Microsoft Edge in the list

    Click 3 dots then click Modify

    Select Repair

    Restart your computer
