I'm getting a workspace loading error

Anonymous
2025-05-08T09:39:20+00:00

Error message in logs: ODSP socket error (connect_document_error): Session not found. The session "1!1!3/6214de18-2273-4209-8db9-ba0d36701636" was not found.

I tried logging out and logging back into my account, tried to turn sync on/off again, but it didn't work. I tried opening the workspace in a different account but it happened similarly. Hopefully someone will have a solution to this because I have an important workspace. Thank you![](https://learn-attachment.microsoft.com/api/attachments/4e341988-4dc4-45da-877c-946ca3a9a6ca?platform=QnA

Good day!

Welcome to the Microsoft Community. Thank you for sharing your concerns with us today, and we hope you all the best. I understand the frustration you feel about the Edge browser workspace issue. I recommend following these steps:

  1. Close the edges
  2. Open File Explorer>View>Show>Show hidden items.
  3. Navigate to this directory in File Explorer C:\Users\* (your user profile)*\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Edge\User Data\Default > delete the Default folder.
  4. Open the Edge and resume the closed window.
  5. The preference file will appear, change your preference (right-click) to read-only – this will prevent the preference file from getting corrupted every time

or

In the URL address bar, type: edge://settings/profiles

Click Sign Out.

Then log in again.

Hope this helps!
