Setting Time and Date format in WIndows 11 / Edge

Every piece of advice on Time and Date settings begins the same...

Settings->Time & Language->Region

The first problem is that this pathway does not exist. Turns out that all these useless answers are Windows 10 answers

It is well know and numerous question have been asked that Windows changes the date format as the region changes.

I don't want to ever change my region, or my date settings. I travel extensively between regions and no matter what happens, the date format changes to the local format, sometimes immediately after I have changed to UK.

I swapped out for Chrome specifically to prevent changes to the date format.

LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT

I never want any browser to change the date and time settings, not today, not ever.

I NEVER want to see Thai, Chinese, US or Arabic date formats in search results. NEVER.

NEVER AGAIN

I want to fix the date format as US, but whatever is chosen, it must be fixed and guaranteed - FOREVER.

I travel frequently between the Gulf, Thailand and China and have never found a solution to this problem.

I recently swapped from Chrome to Edge for this specific reason. This must stop. Both my income and my mental health are suffering.

A VPN will not solve this problem. I require a solution for Windows 11 and (fully updated this morning) Edge, without recourse to third party software.

A POSSIBLE SOLUTION

If this works - and I cannot know whether it does wi9thout simply waiting for something to go wrong - it seems very brutal. There may be implications far beyond date options. What are these implications?

THIS SOLUTION CATEGORICALLY DOES NOT WORK!!!!

Nothing is different and I am back to Thai dates again.

Can no one free me from this hell?

    Hello MonoDono1.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some issues on data format.

Regarding the date format in Windows, you can follow these steps to find the option.

As for the date format in Edge, it is most likely set automatically by Bing based on your IP address. You can try changing the language to

English (United States) and then adjusting the settings to "Never" (make sure you have not accessed the internet from within mainland China,

as it will force the region setting to China). If it still doesn't work, we suggest providing feedback on this issue through the

    feedback option(ALT+SHIFT+I).

    edge://settings/languages

If there is anything not clear, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards,
