Vista WMC Error Code 14

Question

Can not seem to get a fix for error code 14. All been working fine for some months and now getting error code 34 and now error code 14. Have check connections, uninstalled and reinstalled and reset date/time.

Any help will be great!

Thanks for the info, a couple of extra threads that I hadn't yet read up on. However still giving the same advise.

I have diabled all firewall in both Windows and my Trend Micro. Not using Norton

Date/Time is via Windows and I've now reset the date/time, unchecked the auto feature too

Re set the steup on Media Centre and still with no joy, the the error message is now back to # 34.

Is the time via Windows or a bios that I read in a blog?

Windows Media Center must not be allowed access through the Firewall,,, have you changed firewalls?

Also make sure your region, time and date on the computer is correct, more than a 15 minute error

can cause 14. Daylight savings not set right could mean off by an hour. Watch AM/PM
