Pardon the basic question but what is SNMP??
thx!
Awesome! This fixed my work problem after a full day of trying to fix! You are the best...
Hey I had this issue as well. Most likely the info below did not help...go to your printer and click the option to print out a 'printer diagnostics page' or 'printer supplies page', etc. This will print out your IP address. I had a power outage and my IP address had changed. If it has changed you will have to go into the 'sharing' options on the printer and manually change the last digit on the IP address.
You can also type it in your web browser (the new one) and change it back to what it was before.
Hope this helps!
Hey Securelend,
Lets first check if the printer is enabled. If you are installing the Network printer for the first time, here is what you need to do :
After you have installed a network printer, you need to add a connection to the printer for each computer on the network.
1.
Open Printers by clicking the Start button , clicking Control Panel , clicking Hardware and Sound , and then clicking Printers .
2.
On the toolbar, click Add a printer .
3.
In the Add Printer Wizard , select Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer , and then follow the steps in the wizard.
If you have already installed the printer and if it still shows offline, try to install the drivers for your printer. You would have got the printer drivers with your printer.
If you are not able to still enable the network printer and it shows Offline, you can follow the below article :
